📋 First Article Inspection (FAI)

A successful prototype does not automatically guarantee production readiness.

Before moving into full-scale manufacturing, the first produced part must be thoroughly verified against the engineering drawing and customer requirements.

📐 During FAI, measurement is used to:

✓ Verify critical dimensions and tolerances

✓ Confirm GD&T requirements

✓ Validate manufacturing processes

✓ Document inspection results

✓ Establish a quality baseline for production
